So, we all know about a Link to the past 2, yeah?  A sequel to a Link to the Past. It takes place in the same overworld, it re-uses a lot of the same concepts, while introducing a few new mechanics.

Here’s a hypothetical question for you.

If you could have the same concept of a Zelda sequel to any Zelda game you want, which game would you like to have a part 2 of?

Keep in mind, it would  use the same overworld. A lot of the same items and enemies. But all new dungeons and a new gameplay element. 

Please don’t say “I’d rather have something new” most people in their right mind would rather have something new, but that’s not the point of this post.

Surprisingly, I’d pick Twilight Princess.

you know, i am curious on what happens to link after majora’s mask. it does give a lot of unanswered questions for link’s fate. does he ever find navi again? does he manage to get out of termina? what would happen on his re arrival to hyrule? it feels like there could be a lot more material added to link’s adventure in finding navi and getting back to hyrule. plus, i am a sucker for majora’s mask’s story and dark atmosphere.

he continues to pat her back, continuing to think about her. anon cloak? he had seen that before. he noticed that anons seem to have some sort of article of clothing or a mask to keep their identity hidden, but it wasn’t a coincidence after all? how odd. trying to think of what to say, he decides to try it simple. “they may be gone physically, but they are still in your heart. even if you can’t see them, at least you know they existed. that is better than me. i don’t even remember if i had any parents or relatives…..”

he goes to her and pats her back, trying to comfort her. shiver star……shiver star….where had he heard that name before? he had heard it from somewhere. with the star at the end of it, he could guess it is something from pop star. maybe drawcia mentioned it at one point? it was either from her or from that movie he saw where a big chunk of ice broke off from antarctica and caused a giant storm that froze the northern hemisphere of Earth. what was it called again? sheesh this is gonna bug him all day.

He shakes off his derailment. “i am amazed you are alive. you must be very lucky to have survived.” at the moment, he is still trying to keep his thoughts from thinking about that movie he saw. trying to remember what it was is gonna make it harder to calm her down

“ah….” he thinks for a moment, taking in this new information. seems like the girl is from another version of Earth that has, commonly enough, had humanity nearly or completely wiped out. It was a common thing to happen to Earth in parallel worlds, for unknown reasons.

“what happened to your home?” He figured he’d start with a little question first without causing too much anxiety to her

I reblog this everytime it’s on my dash. A lot of people think an anxiety attack is always hyperventilating and freaking out. I don’t know how it is for everybody but I can have anxiety attacks where  I just feel like I’m not breathing enough even though I am and start getting sweaty, heart races and sudden urge to escape no matter what I’m doing. Most don’t think that’s an “attack” but until you’ve felt it you don’t know how claustrophobic it actually makes you feel.
